DESCRIPTION:Elementary Conferences: Please contact your child’s teacher to sign up for a conference time. \nMiddle School Conferences: These conferences are optional but are recommended for any students receiving specialized services. There will be time available the evening of Thursday\, 3/16\, and during the day on Friday\, 3/17\, and we will be upstairs in the main building. You will enter through the main doors that we use during morning carline. All teachers will be available\, including the specialists\, and you will use the sign-up here to select a 30-minute window of time. Arrive during this window and then you may meet with any teacher(s) that you would like to talk to. Teachers will have 5-minutes available per student. If you have more than one student\, you only need to sign-up for one slot. You will have 5 minutes per child with each teacher.

Common-sense guidelines apply such as no torn-out jeans\, no clothes with inappropriate graphic or logos\, or anything that promotes violence\, drugs\, alcohol\, tobacco\, sex\, racism or gang affiliation\, no costume items\, etc. Prohibited articles of clothing include but are not limited to: \n\nPajamas\, yoga pants\, sweatpants\, and joggers (except on “Pajama Day”)\nTrench coats or capes\nTank tops and spaghetti or thin strap tops\nBare midriff\, or see-through clothing\nForm-fitting pants cannot be worn alone and must follow uniform guidelines as described in section 1(b)(iii) of the uniform policy at all times.\n\nIt is imperative that student attire does not contribute to a hostile or intimidating atmosphere for any student\, and that dress code enforcement does not reinforce or increase marginalization or oppression of any group based on race\, sex\, gender\, identity\, religion\, ethnicity\, or cultural observance. Any such clothing items are not allowed\, and students inappropriately dressed on free dress day will be asked to change. Parents will be contacted and asked to bring a change of clothes. \nIf in doubt as to whether an item is appropriate\, send back-up clothing in the event your child is asked to change. Younger students are also encouraged to bring a change of clothes in their backpacks in case of accidents.
