Integrated Pest Management Plan – Weed Spraying Notification
In accordance with our Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPM) we are providing notice of the application of pesticides on school grounds. Weather permitting, herbicides for weed control will be used on the school grounds on April 19th at 23264 SW Main Street. The area of application will be around the entire campus to maintain the landscaping. The reason for this application is to control weeds and weed removal. Details of the products that will be used are as follows.

Formulation: 1 teaspoon per gallon

Product Name: Speed Zone broadleaf herbicide for turf
Formulation: 0.6oz per gallon

EPA Active Ingredient: 2, 4-D ethylhexyl ester; mecoprop-p; dicamba; carfentrazone ethyl
Should weather conditions force the cancellation of this application, application will be rescheduled to the first available date and time when weather conditions are favorable. In the event application is postponed due to weather, warning signs will be placed 24 hours prior to the application and will remain in place for at least 72 hours after the application of these products.
It is the intention of Sherwood Charter School to comply with all federal and state regulations regarding pesticide use and to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure students, parents and employees a healthy and safe environment in which to learn and work.
