Cougar Run 2024
On Thursday, September 26th, students will participate in Sherwood Charter School’s Cougar Run Fundraiser! They will have 20 minutes to complete as many laps as possible around the Cougar Run course at our school. Our track is a little smaller than a typical track and on average students will be able to complete around 20-30 laps depending on pace. The funds collected will go toward providing students the opportunity to have learning come to life through exciting school programs. If every student raises $70 we will pass our Cougar Run fundraising goal!

Students will participate during school hours and are encouraged to wear athletic wear and crazy hair. Be sure and send a water bottle with your student for the day of the event. Parents who would like to volunteer should make advance arrangements through the office for this student only event.
Following the Cougar Run, students will receive a participation ribbon and have the opportunity to enjoy a popsicle. For students with special dietary requirements, please contact the office in advance for accommodations.

Cougar Run fundraising envelopes will be sent home in student backpacks on Tuesday, September 17th. Prizes for the most money raised will be awarded to the overall top fundraiser and the top fundraiser for each grade. If we reach our 15K fundraising goal, the whole school will get free dress for a week! All pledge packets with the donations are due by Thursday, October 3rd by 4:00 pm to be counted towards student prizes.
