Details for the 2020-2021 School Year:
The 2020-2021 school year will begin with Comprehensive Distance Learning due to the criteria for in-person learning established by the Oregon Department of Education. In order to return to in-person learning, SCS is required to meet specific metrics. You can find the required metrics published here. The latest county metrics can be found here, and a helpful visual dashboard is available here. As we have students and staff from multiple counties, based on current enrollment we will consider the metrics for both Washington and Yamhill counties, as well as Clackamas county. We will be continually monitoring the metrics while in Comprehensive Distance Learning and will notify families of any impending changes. Once the criteria for in-person instruction is met, SCS will move to a hybrid model, with students attending in-person 2 days a week and 2 days of distance learning. More information about this model will be provided as we get closer to meeting the requirements for in-person learning.
